Personal Loan Portal Closure FAQ’s

In May 2022, we stopped offering our Personal Loan product. As of 31th March 2023, our personal loans portal will no longer be available. Please find below a series of frequently asked questions.

Please note all terms and conditions on your existing loan(s) remain the same, and it is important that you continue to pay your loan as any missed payments may have an impact on your ability to attain credit in the future.

Q: How do I now manage my loan?

A: Our personal loan team are available on the phone Monday through to Friday between 8am and 7pm, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. The team can take payments, give settlement figures and help set up and amend direct debits. They can be contacted on 0151 525 1000.

Q: Will I still receive statements in the post?

A: If you have a live loan with us you will continue to receive an annual statement shortly after the anniversary of you taking out the loan.

Q: What can I do if I can’t afford my monthly repayment?

A: We’re here to help you and we understand life is not always straight forward. Please contact our dedicated team on 01515 251000 or email us at [email protected].

Q: Will my repayments still be recorded on my credit file?

A: Yes. Just as we do now, we will continue to accurately report your repayment record to credit reference agencies until the end of your loan.

Q: Can I still apply for a top-up on my existing loan?

A: Unfortunately, we’re no longer able to offer top-up or further advances on existing loans.
